PARLIAMENT SPEAKER ŞENTOP: "REFLECTING THE TRUTH IN STATISTICS STRENGTHENS THE SENSE OF TRUST"

Mustafa Şentop, the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM), emphasized that strategic data forms the very foundation of decisions made in vital areas, especially in state affairs. He stated, "The fact that statistics fully reflect the truth reinforces people's sense of trust."

Speaker Şentop made these remarks during the 2nd International Applied Statistics Conference, organized at Gaziosmanpaşa University in memory of Prof. Dr. Orhan Düzgüneş, with the contributions of the International Balkan University and the Governor’s Office of Tokat. Expressing his happiness to attend the event, Şentop noted that while the first conference was held online due to the pandemic, he was pleased to be part of this year's gathering.
