PAPER REVIEW PROCESS

Paper Review Process

All papers submitted to the 7th International Conference on Applied Statistics (UYİK-2026) will be evaluated in order to ensure academic quality and scientific standards.

Submitted papers will first undergo an editorial screening process conducted by the conference editorial board. During this stage, submissions will be assessed based on:

  • Relevance to the conference scope and theme
  • Scientific quality and originality
  • Compliance with submission guidelines

Papers that pass the editorial screening will be sent to a reviewer who is an expert in the relevant field for scientific evaluation.

Based on the reviewer’s report, the following decisions may be made:

  • Accepted
  • Accepted with Revision
  • Rejected

If necessary, authors may be requested to revise their manuscripts according to the reviewer’s comments.

Accepted papers will be included in the conference program as oral presentations and will be published in the Conference Proceedings Book.

UYİK-2026 follows the principles of academic integrity, impartiality, and scientific quality throughout the evaluation process.

 

Publication Ethics and Ethical Principles

All submissions to UYİK-2026 must comply with academic integrity and scientific ethical standards.

By submitting a manuscript, authors declare that:

  • The work isoriginal
  • It hasnot been published previously nor submitted elsewhere for evaluation
  • All sources have beenproperly cited
  • Ethical standards in research and publication have beenfully respected

Scientific misconduct includes but is not limited to:

  • Plagiarism
  • Data fabrication or manipulation
  • Ghost authorship or gift authorship
  • Duplicate or redundant publication

If such ethical violations are detected, the manuscript may be rejected or removed from the evaluation process.

UYİK-2026 follows the ethical guidelines recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE)

Plagiarism Policy

All papers submitted to UYİK-2026 may be checked for plagiarism.

Authors are expected to properly cite all sources used in their work.

Plagiarism includes but is not limited to:

  • Using text or ideas from other sources without proper citation
  • Unauthorized use of another researcher’s ideas or data
  • Republishing previously published work

Manuscripts found to contain plagiarism may be rejected or removed from the review process.

Copyright and Proceedings Policy

he copyright of accepted papers remains with the authors.

By submitting a paper to UYİK-2026, authors agree that their work may be:

  • Presented at the conference
  • Published in theconference proceedings

In order for an accepted paper to be included in the proceedings, at least one author must register for the conference and present the paper.
