Do I Need a Visa to Enter Türkiye?
Participants traveling to Türkiye for the 7th International Congress on Applied Statistics (UYİK 2026) may require a visa depending on their nationality.
We strongly recommend that you check your visa requirements at least 6–8 weeks before travel.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I apply for a visa after arriving in Türkiye?
No. You must obtain a valid visa before traveling to Türkiye, unless your country is visa-exempt.
How long does visa processing take?
- e-Visa: Instant to 24 hours
- Sticker visa: 5–15 working days (apply at least 30 days before travel)
Can UYİK 2026 organizers guarantee my visa approval?
No. The organizing committee cannot intervene in the visa process. We only provide the official invitation letter.
What if my visa is rejected?
Please contact the Turkish Embassy/Consulate for the reason. Congress registration fees (if paid) will be refunded according to our cancellation policy.
Do I need travel insurance?
Yes, for sticker visa applications, travel health insurance with minimum €30,000 coverage is mandatory.
How much money should I show in bank statements?
There is no fixed amount, but you should demonstrate sufficient funds to cover your stay (approximately €50–70 per day is a safe estimate).
