SPEAKER OF THE PARLIAMENT PROF. DR. MUSTAFA ŞENTOP VISITS TOKAT

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Şentop, the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM), visited Tokat to hold various official meetings. As part of his program, Şentop attended the 2nd International Applied Statistics Conference, organized in memory of Prof. Dr. Orhan Düzgüneş through the collaboration of Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University and International Balkan University.

Upon his arrival at Tokat Airport, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Şentop was welcomed by Governor Dr. Ozan Balcı, Tokat Members of Parliament Yusuf Beyazıt, Mustafa Arslan, and Özlem Zengin, Mayor Eyüp Eroğlu, and provincial protocol members.

The conference, held at the Taşlıçiftlik Campus Meeting Hall, began with a moment of silence and the national anthem. The event continued with a reading of Prof. Dr. Orhan Düzgüneş’s biography and a video presentation dedicated to his life and work.
