Statistics are obtained as a result of a systematic production process that encompasses data collection, data processing, analysis, quality control, and publication stages. Today, open-source software plays a crucial role in executing these processes in a faster, more reliable, and reproducible manner.

R is a powerful programming environment widely used in the statistical production process, thanks to its capabilities in data processing, analysis, data visualization, and automation.

In this training, participants will learn the fundamental concepts regarding the statistical production process. By observing examples, they will grasp data reading, data management (data cleaning, data transformation, data merging), data analysis, and data visualization in the R environment, as well as automation possibilities through Shiny interfaces. The training is designed to enable participants to understand theoretical knowledge through direct observation.

Within the scope of the training, participants will gain knowledge through example-based demonstrations on the following topics:

• Data reading and data management in the R environment (data cleaning, data transformation, data merging)

• Data analysis and data visualization

• Automation possibilities via Shiny interfaces
